Friendly boarding on the South Coast
For us, boarding is centred on the idea of ‘family’. We know that in order for children to be successful, they need to feel happy and relaxed. Children in Years 7 & 8 live in our 'outhouses', boarding houses that look like they've been lifted from a village, which are situated a short walk from the main school buildings in our grounds. Each boarding house is hosted by a couple, at least one of whom is a teacher at school. Houseparents play a key role in caring for children and work closely with the pastoral team and teachers. Often their own children are or have been pupils at the school, so they understand what is important.

Westbourne House is situated in 100 acres of parkland just a few minutes south of central Chichester.
A member of staff would welcome your child at Arrivals in Southampton Airport and, just 40 minutes later, they would be turning up the drive at Westbourne House School.
