For boys and girls, two and a half to four years old.
Our nursery is full of interest and imaginative play. The nursery backs onto our secret garden, a leafy outdoor space for children to explore, get muddy and grow. It’s the start of a special journey at Westbourne House.
Our approach
Each child is nurtured, supported and loved every step of the way. Children here learn through creative play absorbing phonics through art, maths through music, speech via cooking, and science in our woods. The curriculum is designed to teach children amazing skills using educational, fun, interesting and confidence-building methods.
When I say good bye in the morning I always feel 100% confident that they are in the best possible care. I feel incredibly lucky that my girls have had the opportunity to experience such a warm and fun start in life.

Headteacher's Welcome
The nursery is a loving haven for the first steps of a child’s journey. We give each child support and comfort as they explore their surroundings and become thinkers and learners, while feeling safe.
Every day is packed with purposeful play and our nursery children experience the thrill of discovering. We respond to their enthusiasm and interests by tailoring our approach to suit their needs.
We make the most of our wonderful environment: a secret garden, leafy woodland...
We are open Monday to Friday in the term time. The nursery day begins at 8.10am and finishes at either 12.15pm or 1.30pm (morning session with or without lunch), or 3.15pm (full day).
Wraparound care is available from 7.45am until 5.15pm.
