Joanna Lewis

Having completed my degree in music at King's College London, I returned to my home town of Chichester to complete a PGCE. After several years developing my skills across key stages one and two at a local primary school I was delighted to join Westbourne House in 2010 as a Reception teacher with responsibility for Pre-Prep Music.

I strongly believe in the value of music not just as a subject in its own right but also as a vehicle for learning across the curriculum. I feel very fortunate to be able to share my own passion for music with children during these crucial early years at school and to hopefully inspire a lifelong love of music as well as musicians of the future.
