It was a fantastic day of results and perseverance in the sweltering heat for our U9 and U10 athletes who took part in the County Athletics Trials at Hurstpierpoint.
Sports teacher, Miss Cheeseman, said: “It was a long day but every single member of our Westbourne team tried their best in every event they competed in, and cheered each other on where it was possible.
“Our athletes should all be very proud of what they achieved today and remember that to get to the County Trials in the first place is a great achievement. Well done!”
