Our Nursery children walked across to the lake to release the butterflies they have watched grow from hungry caterpillars, into shiny chrysalises, before undergoing their radical transformation into a beautiful butterflies. They loved watching them set off into the sky.
They then set off on a nature-filled walk around the lake. It was a beautiful day with the sun glimmering on the water. At the far end of the lake, they found the beehives and after a picnic lunch, they played a really fun bee game.
