The big fundraising month

Well done to everyone who has taken up our February fundraising challenge so far.  There is still time.  Keep it up Team Westbourne!

Cupcakes for sale! One of our Year 3 boys, Cyrus, took orders for cupcakes from neighbours in his village, which he made then delivered in decorated bags raising £80 in the process.

Two pupils in Year 7 got together to cook biscuits over the weekend to sell to their neighbours and friends.

Year 7 Tilly pupil has been making beautiful handmade jewellery and has raised £76 so far.

Our boarders in Main House raised money with a keepie uppie challenge and an attempt to make the longest hair plaiting chain possible up the stairs in Main House.

Layaanah from class 1DB has raised £88 for the school charities by making 44 dinosaur soaps for her school friends!

Amber L, Amber E and Samantha from Yr 1 baked, crafted and created items to sell at their Valentine's themed shop. The girls made a whopping £246.90 and sold out of everything they made.

Georgia, Ottilie and Helena from Pre-Nursery made crayons and ran a Valentine's Lucky Dip Stand.

We are raising money for our school charities:

Chestnut Tree House which provides care for children and young people with life shortening conditions in Sussex and South-East Hampshire.

West Sussex Mind helping young people, adults, older adults, carers and families affected by mental health issues.

Global Canopy working to enable transformative change towards a global deforestation-free economy. Help us save the rainforests.

And the Westbourne House Bursary Fund: for local children who have strong potential in academics, music or sport, but who otherwise would not have access to a Westbourne education
