Our school takes pride in fostering kindness and giving back to the community and nowhere is this spirit more evident than during the annual Big Month In. This month-long fundraising challenge kicked off on 1 February and already pupils are buzzing with entrepreneurial ideas! The focus isn’t on how much is raised, but on each pupil’s efforts.
Pupils have already started making adorable home-sewn dog bandana neckties, whipping up customised friendship bracelets and even concocting homemade soaps and candles. An ambitious pupil is planning an ‘ultra’ sporting event, pushing his limits for a worthy cause and inviting others to join in!
School hallways are plastered with posters, each proudly showcasing upcoming fundraising ventures.
Mrs Barker expressed her gratitude: “Thank you so much to you all for getting our Big Month In off to a fantastic start. I know there are lots of plans to fundraise over half term and it is brilliant to see so many children already involved from across the year groups. Our school charities will be extremely grateful.”
This certainly promises to be an incredible month for our school charities!
