Underneath the starry sky, our school's crackling bonfire blazed and fireworks painted the evening with sparks of joy and trails of camaraderie.
Bonfire night is much-loved boarding tradition at Westbourne House School and there is no doubt that our boarders, our Year 8 pupils and their families absolutely loved it. The torchlit procession by our patrols was a highlight, our patrol leaders lit the bonfire, carefully supervised by Mr Knight.
“Last night was a wonderful evening. It was lovely to see so many families here and we are very grateful to our fireworks team - Mr Gray, Mr Grubb and Mr Knight for organising such a special event and the catering team for such delicious soup and hot chocolate.”
