Our full-time boarders visit Hayling Island for a seaside weekend experience
Our boarders had a wonderful sunshine-filled weekend with Mr and Mrs Pitman, our Dower House parents, in charge.
Mrs Pitman said: "It was an excellent opportunity for all the boarders to get to know our new boarder this weekend and get out and about in our local area and explore Chichester."
The weekend started off with ten pin bowling which was competitive and strikes were scored aplenty! One group of girls challenged Mr Pitman, who was only narrowly victorious!"
Mrs Pitman continued: "It was great to introduce this year's boarders to our annual trip to Funland on Hayling Island. A breezy, but sunny, day and we could all clearly see the Isle of Wight from the beach.
"Everyone loved the beach fun fair: dodgems, log flumes, helter skelter, mini coasters, ice cream and candy floss - nobody wanted the day to end and we were almost the last to leave! The children returned sun-kissed having enjoyed some traditional, British seaside fun.
"We were superbly fed all weekend and the children had time to chat with their families as well as hit Sainsbury's to stock up their tuck boxes!"
What a lovely weekend!
