Mrs Barker, who looks after our community fundraising, said: “It was such a lovely start to the day to see so many children and staff scattered in groups all over the school making memories in remembrance of Captain Tom. Today was our turn to build on his legacy on what would have been his 101st birthday. Thank you to our parents for donating money to our school charities and helping us to create an opportunity to celebrate an inspirational man and his spirit of resilience, hope and joy."
