Year 4 had a fantastic day out at the Avon Tyrrell Activity Centre in the New Forest in the penultimate week of term. Set in beautiful countryside, the centre is a perfect spot to relax, enjoy some fun activities and share fun times with friends.
Mr Stewart said: "The children enjoyed a range of activities including paddle-boarding, kayaking, high ropes and archery and, most importantly, the sun shone. After such a tricky year, it was a super trip and a great place to remember the good times in Year 4.”
One Year 4 pupil said: “It was so good to have so many new activities to try with your friends from school. We got to try EVERYTHING!” It was a long bus journey but definitely worth it!” Another added: “I fell in the lake when I was paddle boarding but I wasn’t scared … not even of the high ropes.”
