In Spanish, we celebrate that learning a language is not just classroom-based, reviewing vocabulary and listening to an account of what one has done at the weekend! We celebrate that learning Spanish is about enjoying and celebrating Spanish and Hispanic cultures.
Spanish teacher, Mrs Sleep, said: "Sadly, owing to a certain global pandemic, our termly trips to the Food Tech rooms with Señora Bonn had been cancelled but despair no longer! Our Year 6 pupils prepared the classic “Tortilla Española” and Year 7 pupils prepared albondigas (meatballs). The iconic tapas dishes went down a storm and the children loved the change of scene (and the flamenco music Señora Bonn was playing whilst they cooked)!
