Our Year 5 pupils studied a host of extraordinary and whacky Roald Dahl characters in their drama lessons to prepare themselves for their wonderful performance - An Evening of Roald Dahl.
"Energy and projection - amazing," Mr Barker told the children. "You've worked so hard individually, and you've worked so hard as a group. There are 54 children in your year group and everyone has made such a big contribution."
Thank you so much to all the parents, who volunteered to help with hair and make up. Huge congratulations to Harriet Baxendale for the wonderful costumes and wigs, and a great big cheer for Alfie and Rory for their work in the control box - there were 117 sound cues to get right, plus lighting and projection - amazing job!
