Year 3 spent a fantastic day adventuring, risk-taking and pushing their limits at Avon Tyrrell outdoor learning centre, located in the New Forest. It was their introduction to the Westbourne Award; a gentle start to the awards and a taster of all the adventures to come.
After a long and exciting journey on the bus, the children and adults got stuck into various activities that tested their team skills and there was a lot of positive feedback from the children. "It was a really fun day and I wish there were even more activities," said one.
The staff at Avon Tyrrell were great fun and encouraged everybody to persevere and learn new skills. The children all made the most of this opportunity, well done Year 3!
