On a hot and sunny day, Year 4 embarked on an exciting trip to the Brighton Sea Life Centre. The adventure began with a workshop where they explored what sea creatures need to thrive. This hands-on session helped the children to understand the importance of a suitable habitat, proper nutrition, and protection from predators for marine life.
Mrs Davies, Head of Year 4, said: "One of the highlights of the day was watching the rays and turtles being fed. It was fascinating to see how these creatures interact with their environment during feeding time. The rays gracefully glided through the water while the turtles displayed their unique eating habits, capturing our attention and sparking curiosity.
"A memorable experience was walking through the underwater tunnel. Surrounded by water and marine life, it felt like we were all truly part of the ocean. The children could see various sea creatures up close, which was thrilling! The tunnel offered a unique perspective on marine ecosystems and the diversity of life within them.
