Remember, remember the 5th of November...
All of the Early Years children helped to build up the bonfire at our Forest School site over a couple of weeks. Together we collected sticks and logs of all different sizes to add to our fire. By the time we had finished it was huge and we were excited to come back after half-term!
On Monday 5 November, to celebrate Bonfire Night, all the children gathered around our bonfire! First, Mrs Grout carefully checked underneath with a stick to ensure that no hedgehogs or other little creatures had decided to make it a home. Then we talked about keeping safe around fires, lit the bonfire and had a marshmallow whilst we watched the beautiful flames dancing and flickering.
