Well done to Year 5 for their fantastic show, An Evening with Roald Dahl. What a triumph! There might have been nerves that morning and some double checking of learnt lines, but on the night Year 5 really pulled out all the stops.
Year 5 pupils brought to life some of the highlights of Roald Dahl's remarkable repertoire, showcasing their work in drama lessons.
Mr Cousen's said: "This production not only urged the dubious and apprehensive to have a go and enjoy the thrill of the stage, but also provided a platform for the super eager to try out ludicrously harebrained characters."
One parent commented afterwards: "Live theatre with a glass of wine! It was an amazing night. I loved it and the children were superb."
