As a school we always try and make the most of our local environment: beaches, national parks, harbours, art galleries and theatres.
Our Year 5s, who are learning about the Victorians, visited our very own Victorian seaside town of Bognor Regis and - what perfect weather for a beach lesson!
Earlier in the day, the focus was on geography. They were in Chichester looking at the city in a new light - land use. They observed, discovered, learnt lots of new vocabulary and asked great questions.
Their final stopping point was at Halnaker, under a vibrant, blue sky, with views of the coast, the South Downs National Park, farms and woods.
