Reception had a very exciting morning when a fire engine arrived not once, but twice at the Pre-Prep!
The first time, the fire team had to respond to a shout, leaving the Pre-Prep with sirens blaring and blue lights flashing. But never fear, they soon returned. All this commotion was exciting for all the children from Nursery to Year 2!
The Reception children went on to learn all about fire safety, how the fire engine is a huge tool box and what being a fire fighter involves. Everyone had a chance to use the hose and sprayed water across our playground, knocking over a cone. It really was a memorable morning. Thank you to Chichester Fire Brigade for coming to inspire us all.
