Our Saturday Activity programme at Westbourne House allows our pupils to try new things, learn new skills as well as practise the things they love.
Goodwood Golf
We are very lucky to have the Goodwood Estate on our doorstep and our golfers head off there regularly on a Saturday morning.
Modern language teacher and accomplished golfer, Miss Barrow, said: “It’s incredible for the children to be able to go to the Golf at Goodwood Academy, where they receive professional coaching and 1:1 tips. The children enjoyed numerous games, activities and challenges both on the short game green and the driving range. They are looking forward to being able to play on the brand new Par 3 course when it opens later this year. What a wonderful opportunity for them all!”
Novium Museum
A good number of Year 4 children opted to join their friends on an outing to the Novium Museum in Chichester. Head of Year 4, Mrs Davies, said: “It was a fantastic trip and we really enjoyed exploring Chichester. Alongside finding out more about the Saxons in Sussex in the museum, to enrich our topic in class, we also enjoyed walking through the city and exploring its incredible cathedral.”
The Novium Museum focuses on the story of Chichester District over the past 500,000 years.
