Our young bakers returned from the holidays full of zest and willing to take a whisk in this year's new look Great Westbourne Bake Off!
Over forty pupils entered the Food Tech kitchen to sieve the dream and take part in the first ever Bake Off Technical Challenge. It was all or muffin, or rather biscuits, that the pupils had to make using a mystery recipe carefully selected by our very own Mrs Bonn. There where no half-baked attempts, with all pupils producing something resembling a delicious melting moment or jam thumb print!
The finalists now have the opportunity to cook up a storm in the grand final, which will take place on Wednesday 15th May (10am). Let's see if the the winner bakes it all!
