Year 8's last few weeks together as a year group, after the hard work and focus of CE exams, were all about maximum time together having fun. So having finished a week preparing for their show Matilda, as well as going to Thorpe Park, and it was time for Year 8 to head off on their five-day residential trip to PGL Marchant’s Hill.
There they built Fred Flintstone-style buggies, hit the targets at the air rifle range, aimed for the bullseye in archery, enjoyed the giant swing and were particularly good at helping each other up the giant Jacob's ladder.
Trip leader Mr Forysth said: “Everyone had a brilliant time. Blue skies every day, marshmallows by the campfire, lots of chatting and good times."
