Our maths and English clinic runs on Mondays and Tuesdays and provides an additional layer of support and help for pupils in Year 5-8 should they need it. We also host a popular science clinic on a Thursday.
Head of English Miss Fisher explains: "Children at Westbourne complete their homework at school. On Mondays and Tuesdays, children can come here with their maths or English homework to complete it here and get help, or they might come if they've missed a lesson and need to catch up. Some children come because they are finding a concept difficult and need to go over it in their own time. This intervention helps students to consolidate their learning and build their confidence; anyone from Years 5-8 is welcome!"
