Our Year 2 pupils re-enacted the Battle of Hastings on horseback and fired imaginary bows and arrows from the Keep during their wonderful visit to Arundel Castle.
“As part of their Knights and Castles topic the children stepped back in time and explored the Armoury and the Oubliette and heard siege stories from our brilliant guide,” said Year 2 Teacher, Mrs Temple.
“I can’t believe that actually happened in this castle!”
