The results of the Inter-Patrol Geography Quiz are in!
Children in Years 3 - 8 were tested by 30 questions over three categories - British Isles, Europe and The World, and included questions such as:
- Sark and Alderney are in which group of islands?
- Which sea or ocean is to the east of England?
- Reykjavik is the capital of which country?
- How many countries have land borders with France?
- Chad and Sudan are in which continent?
- Name one of the countries that borders Chile?
Our overall winner looked happily surprised and said: “I read a lot and I look at maps when I’ve got spare time. I look for stuff that I find interesting.”
The top five in each year were awarded points which went towards their patrol’s total: Owls will be delighted to hear they came out on top. Well done.
