Singer and songwriter, Natalie Gray, from Reading, who supported the Kaiser Chiefs and Craig David on their UK arena tours, talked to our Year 7 and 8 pupils about her mental health struggles, panic attacks and the importance of turning to others for help and speaking up.
After singing live in the Millennium Hall, she answered many questions from the children about her career, social media, friendships, body image, bullying and managing anxiety.
“She was very brave to talk to us all about her experiences and helped us understand that you can overcome trauma; we should ignore bullies and carry on with our dreams even if people put you down,” said some of our Year 8 girls after the talk.
