Our annual Music Scholars’ Concert was once again a very enjoyable affair, with some outstanding performances from our top musicians.
All the children performed their audition programmes, which they will be taking to their potential senior schools over the next couple of weeks. Alongside our musicians, we were treated to several performances from our drama scholars too. Among the highlights were a Telemann recorder concerto, a Mozart piano sonata, a Handel violin sonata, and a sprightly Italian Dance for Oboe. Things were brought up to date with a performance of a Beatles classic on drums, a medley of riffs on bass guitar, and several songs from classic musicals.
We wish all of the children the best of luck in their auditions!
