Year 8 pupils made the most of an art workshop, gallery visit and self-led tour
“We wanted to help the children research and enhance their new mixed media project – ‘What a View’. After Pallant House, we visited Chichester Cathedral for photography and sketching.”
Head of Art, Lisa Jeram
Mrs Jeram continued: “The children really engaged with their learning and made the most of every opportunity they were offered. We even had time for a well-deserved hot chocolate on a chilly day in the cathedral grounds! I was delighted when a member of the public approached me to say how wonderfully respectful and polite our children were.”
As a school, we aim to make the most of local opportunities for learning outside the classroom and maximise Chichester's historic, beautiful and artistic qualities.
