PBs set at IAPS Swimming Final

Our swimmers gave their all at the London Aquatic Centre at the IAPS Finals

Ten of our pupils qualified by placing in the top 20 in the country. Some events had well over 100 entries!  On the day, the teams triumphed by producing their best times yet, whilst our individual swimmers both placed 16th overall!

  • The U11 boys freestyle relay team (Loftus, George, Henry and Charlie) knocked four seconds off their qualifying time. They came 10th in their heat and 17th place overall.
  • The U13 girls medley relay team (Willow, Marissa, Coco and Val) knocked four seconds off their regional time. They came 7th in their heat and 17th place overall.
  • Val competed in the U13 breaststroke individual race and achieved a similar time to her qualifying time. She came 8th in her team and 16th place overall.
  • Max competed in the U12 breaststroke individual race and knocked a whopping three seconds off his 50m breaststroke time. He came 7th in his heat and 16th place overall.

Well done to all of the swimmers!
