Our Year 3 and 4s were immersed in an interactive performance of the Greek legend of Perseus and Medusa.
"Our junior pupils were entertained royally on Monday with a live show from the incomparable Mr Dilly," said Year 4 teacher Mr Stewart.
"Mr Dilly has been coming to Westbourne for a number of years with his historical plays and this wizard of entertainment brings a passion and huge sense of fun to every performance. As part of our Ancient Greek topic, he brought to life the legend of Perseus and Medusa which was rapturously received by our juniors!" he added. The children enjoyed putting on costumes, singing songs and acting.
After a big round of applause at the end to say thank you, one Year 4 pupil said the show was ‘absolutely awesome’ and another added: “It makes me want to read all the Greek myths and legends!" It was a lot of fun for both the children and teachers.
