Pre-Prep sing and dance in Summer Celebration

The Pre-Prep children put on a fabulous display of singing and dancing on Thursday 27th June as they celebrated the end of another exciting year.

Taking the theme of our successful ‘International Week’ as a starting point, four excited travellers greeted the audience inviting them on a journey to visit several countries. The Nursery delighted with a lovely song about Indian elephants before Reception celebrated the traditional dances of Spain and Russia.

Year 1 brought the magic of a Chinese dragon to the stage and then it was time to enjoy a rousing rendition of Kookaburra in reference to one of the many creatures native to Australia. Modern dance took the audience to the African plains with an amazing routine based on The Lion King

The concert ended with an incredibly important message from our Year 2 leavers… "embrace the past, but don’t stop thinking about tomorrow!”  We wish all of our leavers well in their new adventures!
