Every day at school this week, and at schools across the UK, our teachers have been looking after pupils whose parents are key workers.
“It has been a privilege to be able to help our parents in this way, when we can only imagine how hard this is for all of them. Everyone has been so grateful. The children have been a joy to look after and it’s been really lovely to see new friendships developing across the age groups. We have been keeping them very busy with the help of some much-needed sunshine," said our Deputy Head, Peter Fisher.
The children painting these wonderful ‘keys’ of support to thank they key workers for everything they are doing. They also created some rainbows to put in the school windows. These rainbows are springing up in windows all over the UK to boost morale and bring us all together.
