Year 7 produced a superb piece of experiential theatre - performing hilarious sketches for and around the guests.
Welcome to Fawlty Towers! Well done to the whole of Year 7 for a very special show during which multiple Basils, Sybils and Manuels, alongside other Fawlty Tower characters, pulled off hilarious sketches with aplomb.
"Fawlty Towers was truly excellent! An evening packed with fun and laughter, a masterclass in comic timing and facial expression! Honestly, for children of 11 and 12 to have performed so professionally is a testament to their hard work and the quality of their coaching. I would have paid good money to watch that in the West End!"

The cast also served the parent guests a 70s-style buffet.
"They way they served us in character - not just looking amazing - but bringing Sybil, Basil and the other characters to the table - was brilliant. It was very special. My favourite Westbourne theatre production so far."
Christine, Parent
Whilst the guests were eating, four Year 7s sang a host of 70s songs with gorgeous melodies. It was perfect way to create a relaxed atmosphere between the high-octane laughs of the Fawlty Tower scenes.
"Year 7's comic timing was awesome," said Mr Barker, Headmaster. "The night had an amazing vibe, brilliant acting and singing."
"We were still buzzing about it this morning," said another guest.
Congratulations to the Year 7 cast and to Mr Cousens, Show Director and Head of Drama. Thank you to Mr Allum, Assistant Director of Music, for the accompaniment, Mrs Baxendale for the costumes, and the team of parents whose makeup skills worked their magic to add those final transformational touches.
