Our Year 3 children took part in a hilarious fun run wearing something funny to raise money for our combined charities. There was a huge variety of fun outfits: floral pyjamas with snorkel at goggles, Superman, wigs galore, onesies and shower caps, swimming costumes and fun sunglasses, tutus, glamorous fairies, pandas, cows. I could go on!
The children were absolutely amazing and despite the blazing heat all children managed to walk, hop, crawl or even skip around the athletics track at least five times. Already £380 has been collected form generous sponsors, and the money is still rolling in! An awesome event completed by fun-loving children.
The event ended up raising just short of £1,000 and combined with the recipe book sales, Year 3 raised £1136 this term - amazing!
