Our Year 2 pupils loved their visit to the Titanic exhibition at the Sea City Museum in Southampton. There were plenty of hands-on activities, including steering the ship, putting coal in the furnace and tapping out a message in Morse code.
Year 2 teacher, Mrs Temple, said: “The children loved the interactive workshop where they handled historical objects, tried a scientific experiment to see how the ship sank, chose who to save in the lifeboats and dressed up in period costume – it was a fantastic day for us all.”
