Sunny Pre-Prep Sports Day

Our Nursery and Reception pupils had a wonderful time at their Early Years' Sports Day. In bright sunshine, the children took great delight in the wonderful mix of races which included balancing bean bags on their head, running, hurdles, obstacle course and egg and spoon!

Reception teacher, Mrs Lewis, said: "It was wonderful to see so many parents and relatives at our Early Years sports day.  The children worked hard to prepare for the event and it was lovely to share this special occasion with them."

After picnic lunches, it was time for our Year 1 and 2 pupils to get race ready. And didn't they enter in style? Having danced their way onto the track, the children zoomed up and down. There was lots of laughter and clapping as they cheered each other on.

Mr Bailey, Year 2 teacher, said: "With glorious sunshine and super support from parents and relatives, it really was a great event. All the children got stuck in to support their teams, with smiles throughout.

Thank you to our Pre-Prep staff and all the parents and supporters who made a lot of noise and gave our children a day to remember. Well done to our Year 7 helpers as well, who were great ambassadors.
