In the first week of the Easter Holidays, eight Westbourne House families took part in our annual school ski trip. A very slick transfer took us to the fantastic Hotel Club du Soleil in Le Pas du Loup, in the resort of Isola 2000. The hotel was located in a prime spot in Isola, directly on the ski slopes and the perfect place to entertain our younger children.
It was definitely a ‘fun, family trip’ with perfect weather conditions that saw sunny days and a big dump of snow in the middle of the week to please our powder ninjas! As well as skiing we enjoyed swimming, tobogganing, a family quiz night and some bowling action.
The week finished with the children being presented with badges from their instructors and families enjoying a wonderful day's skiing. Our return journey was just as smooth but this time with a few tired legs and tanned faces!
It was a super trip. Thank you to all the participating families for making it a fun experience for all involved.
We couldn’t wait to start skiing and snowboarding. We had to wake up early at 7am to get all the gear and have breakfast (it was delicious) before heading off to find our ski teachers called Jill and Wanel. After about two days it started snowing like mad and the snow piled up to about 80cm high. Everyone help build a snowman (it was so fun). The snow was very light and fluffy and perfect for ski and snowboarders. Everyone loved the trip and got nice, shiny badges.
