All parents at Westbourne House School have access all sorts of incredible info and advice on the Wellbeing Hub on Teen Tips. It is an fantastic resource, which is free for our parents, with podcasts, blogs and live webinars on a wide range of topics that affect children of all ages, not just teenagers, which is helpful for parents and teachers alike.
We use Teen Tips in school as a pastoral support for Heads of Year and Form Teachers. It gives us current information in terms of articles, blogs and ideas for our Learning4Life lessons.
Our teachers also access training through the blog and most recently we had some up to date Girls on Board training.
Our pupils in Year 6 – 8 also have a hub where they can access advice or information on any issues. They are introduced to this in their digital skills lessons and their school diaries include a reminder page which explains how to access it easily.
Parents can use the hub as a reliable information source in order to read articles, listen to podcasts or access specific help. There are monthly themes, which are highlighted below.
You can access the Hub by following these instructions.
