We would like to congratulate the cast and crew of My Boy Jack. Praise for the production has been flying in throughout the last week.
Utterly compelling, heart wrenching and thought provoking piece of drama. You had every single member of that audience completely captivated and the quality of acting was phenomenal. We feel incredibly lucky to have such a talented group of individuals teaching our kids.

Performed by the Westbourne Players, My Boy Jack was directed by Ed Cousens, Head of Drama at Westbourne House. The Westbourne Players are a talented group of actors comprised of Westbourne House staff members and Old Westbournians (ex-pupils).
The intensity of the acting was overwhelming and compelling.

My Boy Jack is a remarkable insight into the mind of one of Sussex's best-known authors, Rudyard Kipling. It is 1913 and England is getting ready for war. Kipling is torn between love for his son and an unswerving belief that his country must defeat Germany at all costs. It is a deeply powerful and moving production to mark the centenary of the end of WWI.
I wanted to write a note to just say that I thought My Boy Jack was a complete triumph. There was not a dry eye in our row. I am the least qualified to comment on any acting ability, although I love the theatre, but you were all outstanding. It was a real privilege to witness your evident talent and love for the stage. So thank you all hugely for putting this show on, for all the hard work you have put in.
