Warm welcome to the Prep School

Pupils warmly welcome their Pre-Prep friends

Year 3 pupils met up with a pupil in Year 2 and gave them a personal, thoughtfully-written letter explaining what life is like in Year 3.

"I can't wait to meet you and play with you loads."

Bea, age 8 writes to Amelie, age 7

The older pupils were on hand to help read the letters and answer any more questions. There were so many brilliant details in each letter, from what a patrol is (a house) to what the lessons are like and where they are:

“...sometimes we move to different places, such as: drama, tech and DS [digital skills]”

Some children wrote about their favourite part of being in Year 3:

“My favourite thing about Year 3 is the music lessons. I play three instruments. I also enjoy art.”
“My favourite thing is the sports and the Boundaries" [time playing in the woods]

Now they were in the know, we asked a Year 2 which patrol they hoped to be in.
