Roll up, Roll up! Welcome to the street stalls of Diagon Alley where our Year 4 witches and wizards sell their fares – potions, magic, broomsticks and solutions!
Their Year 3 muggle friends had special tokens to spend at the fair but what would they spend it on? Invisibility? The chance to become neon? Teleportation? The chance to fly?
Mrs Davies, Head of Year 4, tells us: "The children really enjoyed the opportunity to share their half term of hard work and learning with their Year 3 friends. They have worked so hard in class on producing their persuasive brochures, posters, leaflets and creating their magical potions and broomsticks. It was lovely for them to bring it all together in an event and showcase everything.
"We want to support children in developing a lifelong love for learning. It's been a gratifying topic for me as a teacher; the children have been eager to learn, eager to write and eager to find out what is in store for them - perfect!"
