Pupils make the most of Bembridge Silver Westbourne Award adventure

"What a happy time we had on our three-day summer residential to Kingswood in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight! The trip began with a fun and exciting ferry ride to the Isle of Wight. It was new experience for many of us as we'd never been there.
"We stayed in dorms, which added to the adventure and enjoyed evenings around the campfire. We took part in many activities, some of which were challenging and thrilling, with the zip wires and the unforgettable leap of faith being some of the highlights.
"Throughout the trip, we had to work as a team and faced new challenges together. We had the chance to spend time with our teachers and classmates and we formed new and closer friendships.
"Reflecting on the experience, it was a fantastic opportunity. We feel more independent, it was such fun and we learnt so much. By the end of our adventure, we were all ready for a big sleep! We feel very lucky to have had such a fantastic time together."
Thank you to Mr Hanley, Miss Pullen, Mr Geffen and Miss Maindonald for making sure everyone had a brilliant time on this Westbourne adventure and for helping to foster an even greater sense of unity within this fantastic year group.
