"HELLO everyone!"
"And welcome back to Whoosh Radio, your brand new pupil-run station!"
Did you know that Year 8 are learning how to put together radio broadcasts with Digital Skills Teacher Mr Gago. He said: "The pupils are very excited about Whoosh Radio. They are learning a multitude of skills including editing and producing a complete radio programme from scratch.
"In lessons, the class tend to divide themselves into researchers, sound engineers, presenters and producers. Each member of the class has the opportunity to try each of the different jobs.
"The best moments for me so far have been watching the children grow into their new roles and enjoying the humour they show 'behind the scenes'," said Mr Gago. "It is very early days for the station but we have made a great start," he added.
Why Whoosh? Well, it started with the WHS of Westbourne House School! WHooSh!
