After enjoying Julia Donaldson’s Superworm story, the Reception children were inspired to be nature detectives and search for wiggly worms. They were then carefully transferred to wormeries which had been lovingly set up with soil and leaves. We have had lots of fun observing these crazy creatures and will be releasing them back into the wild shortly. As an additional fun moment we then made some wibbly wobbly jelly worms, which tasted absolutely delicious.
It was really fun…the jelly dissolved in the hot water then in got stuck in the straws!
