Year 3 enjoyed an action-packed initiation into the Westbourne Awards in the school grounds. The Westbourne Awards are an exciting combination of fun adventure and a significant challenge, encouraging personal development and new skills.
Our Year 3 pupils faced five industrious challenges, where collaborative work was vital for the success of each group, as well as inter-personal communication, problem-solving, resilience and patience.
They enjoyed all of the activities and learned quickly just how important teamwork is. It was a wonderful day lead expertly by the team-building instructors from Way Ahead Training and the fabulous finale - a firm favourite - was the launching of the rocket!
