I joined the Science Department at Westbourne House School as Head of Science in 2019.
My role as head of department is to instil a love of learning, the environment and the enjoyment of science. We have incredible facilities within the department and around the school, which we use to expand the children's perception of scientific concepts, give them hands-on practical experience, and develop their problem-solving skills. I so enjoy sharing my wonder of science and how things work, as well as my love of asking why.
I graduated form Bangor University after completing a BSc, MSc and PGCE. I've worked in a number of a number of state schools, locally in Chichester and most recently as head of science at Italia Conti in London, where I inspired creative learners to share my passion for science.
