This week Josie B, Austin A, Nicholas A, Coco H and Alex L ventured to Wellington College for their inaugural Youth Leadership Festival.
With Year 5 peers from schools from Windsor to central London and of course Chichester, the 30 children took part in activities such as raft building, field games and drawing up posters about how to lead organised by the Y9 pupils from Wellington.
Amongst many learnings, the children discovered that in order to be a successful leader you must be kind, which is a key principle of the Westbourne Way.
Before the end of term, Westbourne House's Year 3 and Year 7 will have an opportunity to learn more about leadership and team building during their day-long their leadership workshops.
