Grandparents celebrated at Westbourne House School
Our OW Grandparents are a wonderful group, who have truly gone the full circle: they are parents of former pupils & grandparents of current pupils now.
It was wonderful to get this special group together for catch ups, cakes, tea, reminiscing, the chance to look at memorabilia…and a huge hug with their grandchildren right at the end!
We were also pleased to welcome back a very wonderful group of former teachers of a similar era and an Old Westbournian (1964 vintage) whose grandson is currently at Westbourne House.
Former Head of Pre-Prep and teacher at Westbourne House, Jane Morgan (whose daughter, Head of History Mrs Armitage, and granddaughter are still at Westbourne House School) came up with the idea and we thought it was brilliant! Thank you to Jane.
