Trip to Staunton Farm

Our Reception children had a fantastic first school trip - a visit to Staunton Farm.

Their topic this half term has been Growing and Changing and they were delighted to meet some beautiful spring lambs. They also made links in their learning as they learnt about everything that animals need to grow and survive and how they differ from us.

The children fed some very inquisitive goats and some docile cows. They also stroked a friendly ferret called Bandit! Our intrepid explorers also demonstrated their realising skills by recalling the names of baby animals.
